Destiny Odom is the daughter of former NBA star Lamar Odom. Her father Lamar married reality star Khloe Kardashian in 2009, just four weeks after meeting her.
Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Destiny was born on August 6, 1998, to parents – father Lamar Odom and mother, Liza Morales. She has a younger brother, Lamar Odom Jr. Her youngest brother, Jayden Odom, died due to SIDS in 2006.
- Her father married Khloe Kardashian in 2009 when Destiny was just 11 years old. She has mentioned in interviews later that things in her family became a lot more public after Lamar’s marriage to Khloe. She added that having an NBA player as a father already puts you in the public eye but having a reality superstar stepmother takes it to a whole new level.
- Destiny also suffered in school over her father’s relationship with regular snide comments from even people she considered friends.

- In 2015, two years after Khloe filed for divorce, Lamar was found unconscious in his room at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch South after days of partying. It was found out that he overdosed on drugs, and the doctors were treating his condition as an overdose. He appeared to have suffered an “ischemic stroke,” a stroke which is often associated with a cocaine overdose.
- Khloe then arranged for Destiny and her brother to fly to Las Vegas, where Lamar was being treated. At the time, they were still legally husband and wife.
- After her father recovered from his near-death experience, Destiny and other family members held an intervention to force him into drug rehab. Destiny also gave her dad an ultimatum; rehab or she wouldn’t talk to him ever!
