Nelly was born on July 28, 1998, in Bradenton, Florida.
She was born as the second daughter of her parents – Petr Korda (father) and Regina Rajchrtova (mother). Both Nelly’s father & mother were professional tennis players who played for their native country – Czech Republic.
Nelly has an elder sister, Jessica Korda, and a younger brother, Sebastian.

Jessica is also a professional golfer. She turned professional in 2010 and had her first victory in the 2012 Women’s Australia Open at Royal Melbourne.
