Having worked at the political blog Guido Fawkes website after completing his graduation at Bath University, Alex and his team at Guido Fawkes had the primary task of scouting for material that would strike fear in the heart of Westminister’s oak-panelled power circles.

He began working with Paul Staines, the mastermind behind the website who operated a blog under the pseudonym Guido Fawkes.
He was associated with Guido Fawkes website in the capacity of a news editor.
Wickham played a prime role as one of the team members when the website was going strong with stories about corruption, incompetence amongst many other scandals and gossip. He had quoted in an article quite aggressively how MPs would target young party cadets from Universities harass and molest them.
