  1. You realize that Jill Colvin is a Canadian who became a naturalized American, only a relative few years ago. She was born in Toronto, Ontario. She is far from being a natural born American eh!

  2. Have you seen this monstrosity called “Omnibus Bill”? Over 4,000 pages in one bill for Congress to pass. Who does this? It’s like the failed Obamacare Bill where you had to pass the damn thing to find out what was in it, and it was so bad…destroyed the American medical system on purpose. This is a country in major trouble, and we do have a lot of STUPID low IQ corrupt morons in the control room pulling the levers of power.

  3. It’s clear that Trump cannot run in 2024! A president can only serve two terms. Since he is “President” now, he is in his second term. Therefore, he cannot run in 2024.

    1. What a STUPID comment! Just another low-information “voter”. Trump is America’s last chance to save the Republic, Trump will be the 47th President, and will again make America Great and Respected.

    2. Stupid response. Trump is the only candidate that actually cares about the American people and the country.

  4. Very disappointed in this reporter and her lack of quality and bias in reporting. Just self-serving BS from someone who should be more educated.

  5. What a terrible editorial about former President Trump. Politically terrible and biased. America is sick because of people like Ms. Colvin.

  6. Truth doesn’t lean to the right or to the left…it rises to the top and stands up tall and straight. Jill sweetie, get ready to stand corrected! His truth is marching on!

  7. FYI : An insurrection involves an attempt to overthrow a government. A bunch of loonies who entered the capital building and then left after a few hours is not an insurrection. In my opinion, trying to unseat a sitting president with lies about Russian collusion (which is an entirely different thing than election interference by Russia) is much closer to an actual insurrection.

  8. You article, like so many liberal articles, fails to distinguish between a) Russian collusion by a US political party, and b) Russian interference by Russia in the election. Those are two entirely different things. Not recognizing the difference leaves your article to be useless gibberish.

  9. This is her latest drivel on AP:

“But since Trump was barred from major social media channels after helping incite the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, his power to shape the national conversation is being tested.”

Must be one of the worst ‘journalists’ to be carried by AP.

  10. Just read your piece on President Trump’s departure from the White House today. I felt like I was reading your diary…Stick to facts! Nobody cares about your opinion! Most of you so-called “journalists” are nothing but fake who spread lies.

I can say this because I have done my research and I bet you have no clue what’s about to come.

Bye Bye Fake News, you are all corrupt!

  11. Donald J. Trump is no longer president. Why continue to have photos of him when he was President and had access to the President’s helicopter or the presidential limousine. Unless he still has a helicopter and limousine. Why treat him as presidential?

Are photos of him without helicopters and limos that hard to get to accompany new stories of the former President?

  12. Her article in today’s paper stated that “…but view him as an illegitimate president who won only because of mass election fraud, which did not actually happen.” What court case did she attend where evidence of fraud was presented, for her to make that statement? There has not been a court case yet where the evidence has been presented.

Are there ANY qualified journalists left in this country, or all of them lazy and inept as this one seems to be?

  13. Dear Ms. Colvin,

My critique of your article follows.

The article’s claim that “Trump has been consumed by efforts to undo last year’s election, advancing baseless falsehoods.” is itself a falsehood. For evidence of the same, see the videos entitled “Absolute proof, ” “Scientific proof” and “Absolute interference.”

The article’s claim that “A campaign would almost certainly revive memories of the deadly insurrection he helped spark at the U.S. Capitol earlier this year” is an application of the equivocation fallacy in which “insurrection” is the term that changes the meaning. The Democrats based their second impeachment of Trump upon the same, illogical argument. The AP does a grave disservice to the American people when it prints inaccurate and prejudicial articles such as this.

  14. Jill, you are a little skull full of mush. Your Trump articles are WAY over the top liberal biased. You love the terms “unwarranted” and “baseless” concerning election fraud, yet I’m certain you have not reviewed any of the evidence and audit findings underway.

What is “unwarranted” and “baseless” is the continual effort to destroy Trump, including the false Russian collusion, absurd impeachments, and now vicious investigations in NY of his tax status. You ought to be ashamed of yourself for passing yourself off as a journalist. You don’t know the meaning of the word.

  15. Bobby Daniel Colvin

    Jill,

I just read your article on President Trump’s speech at CPAC this past weekend. You declared that he was spreading lies, and it is your right to believe that his statements were not factual. As a journalist, however, you lose credibility, when you label someone a liar simply because you disagree with them. I personally believe that within the next few months you are going to witness events that will totally change your mind. To me, it is obvious that the checks and balances described in our constitution have failed because of massive corruption, and at some point, the military is going to have to step in to restore the credible government. At a minimum, a new election with proper voter identification will be needed, if confidence in government is to be renewed.

Lastly, the main reason I reached out to you is that my last name is also Colvin. My grandfather, John Daniel Colvin, was born in Georgia in the 1870s. My prayer daily is that all my family will be saved. In your profession especially, I hope you will represent your name well, and always seek the truth, and then present what you believe to be the truth. God bless you!

    1. Good morning Bobby Daniel Colvin. My last name is also Colvin, born in Florida, and as y’all are very proud of our namesake. We did not choose our parents…a higher power did and we all celebrate Bobby Daniel Colvin’s reply here.

  16. When will you stop writing lies about the past election? You don’t know whether the last election in the questionable states was valid or not. Yet you and the other blockheads at the left-wing Associated Press insist on printing headlines that President Trump still “lies” about the last election. Like him and millions of others, we believe him. Right from the beginning, the fix was in to put Biden on top in the battleground states he needed to win.

Of course, the AP and other left-wing media would never investigate who was involved in it. You, like every other propaganda writer for the democrats, will continue to write about Trump because he is not going to fade away and the big story you’ll have is when he wins again in 2024!

  17. Goodness me Ms. Colvin stop masquerading as a reporter.

I love that line from Bogey in “Deadline USA” as the Editor of the paper where he quotes the papers’ founder “A journalist makes himself the Hero of the story. A reporter is only a “witness”.

    So true for this Elite-Limo-Lib.

  18. I agree 100% Gina. Great comment! Remember though you are speaking to those that probably rode the short school bus in grade school.

  19. Such biais in her “reporting”…she is the prime example of the sad state of modern journalist. An indoctrinated mind combined with high ego is dangereous

  20. I think the President has enough advisors, lawyers, and Attorney Generals to advise him of his rights and boundaries.

  21. Biased reporter!! Trump hater!! You articles are disgusting to read!! Trump is fighting for us all and you mock him for golfing! Just what is Congress doing?

  22. Michael Stubblefield

So much for objective reporting…every one of your stories is an editorial. I’m blocking the AP news channel on my feed.
