Jordan H. Fabian was born in January 1987, in Olney, Maryland.
Raised in Maryland, most of his family now resides in Washington, DC.
After meeting in college, Jordan married Melissa in September 2013. A young power couple, Jordan is part of the White House press corps, while Melissa is an associate at Latham & Watkins — considered by many to be one of the most prestigious law firms in the world.

Spending his teenage years at Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, Jordan began paving the path for his current career early on in life.
He worked for the school’s award-winning publication, The Lion’s Tale; and co-founded the School’s Bipartisan Alliance Club — demonstrating early signs of a passion for politics and the ability to see both sides of a political argument. He was also a founding member of the school’s golf team.

Following high school, Jordan moved a couple of states north to attend Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Graduating in 2009 with a degree in history, he again took the opportunity at the Ivy League university to hone his journalistic skills.
He was the editor-at-large of The Cornell Review, and was a contributing writer for The Cornell Sun and The Cornell Lunatic.
Honoring his Jewish faith, he was also a member of the Hillel campus community.

For two years following his graduation, Jordan worked as a staff writer at the political newspaper and website, The Hill.
In 2011, Jordan moved on to work as a Political Editor for Univision News, helping launch their English-language digital portal. While there, he was also part of the team that worked on the joint venture between Univision and ABC News that resulted in “Fusion.”

He then worked for Fusion as a Political Editor from 2013-2015.
