Manisha Kelkar was born and raised in Mumbai. Her family includes her parents – Her father is a screenwriter & her mother is a trained Kathak dancer.

Her most memorable role was as Kajri in the hindi movie Bandook. Her height is 5 foot 6 inches. She is well-known for portraying bold characters in the movies she acts. She suffered a few bruises when acting in the Marathi equivalent of ‘Fear Factor’ – Jhunj Marathmoli.
