Matreya Fedor is a young Canadian model and actress best known for her role as Echo Zizzleswift in Mr. Young. Matreya Fedor was born on March 11, 1997, in Vancouver, British Columbia. She also appeared in a commercial for Carnival Cruise Lines.
Career and Professional Life :
- Matreya has been acting since she was seven years old. She got her first role in a Strawberry Shortcake commercial. Since then, she has acted in several short films and television shows and appeared in a few feature films.
- In 2007, Matreya appeared as Tyler Thompson in 2 episodes of famous American fantasy horror television series, ‘Supernatural.’
- In the same year she appeared as Tina in an episode of science fiction television series, ‘Eureka.’ In 2009-10, she played a recurring role of Phoebe Collins( impulsive lead character Jake’s little sister) in Nickelodeon’s preteen adventure series ‘The Troop.’
- From 2011-13, she portrayed the main role of ‘Echo Zizzleswift’ (secret crush of the title character) in a Canadian comedy series, Mr. Young. The show was named the YTV’s number one show in its premiere season. She attended school on the set of Mr. Young alongside her fellow co-stars, Brendan Meyer, and Gig Morton and now attends the University of Victoria.
- In 2013-14, Fedor did a recurring role of Allison Weston for 6 episodes of an American-Canadian drama television series, ‘Cedar Cove.’ She played Brooke in the 2015 drama series ‘Perfect High, starring Bella Thorne which depicted the lives of teenagers who fail to resist to drug abuse

- Matreya made her debut as Emily Strutemyer in the 2006 sci-fi comedy horror film ‘Slither’ at a very young age of 9. She did two other movies in the same year, ‘In Her Mother’s Footsteps’ and ‘Trapped Ashes.’
- In 2007, she appeared in 4 movies named ‘Mrs. Wetherby’s Treasure,’ ‘Sunshine Girl,’ ‘Love Notes’ and ‘No Bikini.’In 2008, she appeared as Jesse Allen in the movie ‘Chaos Theory’ alongside Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds.
- In 2009, Matreya appeared in ‘The Break-up Artist,’ ‘Memory Lanes’ and ‘Daysleeper.’In 2012, she portrayed the role of Kaylee in ‘OMG.’In 2014, she appeared as Headly in ‘My Mother’s Future Husband.’
- In 2015, she starred in TV film ‘My One Christmas Wish’ as Ava alongside Glee actress, Amber Riley.In 2016, appeared as Bernice in ‘Electra Woman and Dyna Girl.’
