- Her very first antique item bought at an auction was not even technically an antique as it wasn’t even 100 years old. It was an Asprey & Co bell-shaped cocktail shaker.
- A glass lover, Roo mentions in an interview that she would love to have would be a piece by William Beilby. The Beilbys of Newcastle are highly-skilled 18th-century glass decorators.
- Most Prized Buy : Glassware from UK-based Japanese glass artist, Keiko Mukaide. Keiko’s work has been exhibited in galleries all over the world, but very few pieces actually come up for sale. Arusha counts herself lucky to have bought two of them when she had the opportunity.
