Claire got her start in sports news right out of university. In June 2005, she joined Real Madrid TV, in Madrid, Spain, as a presenter and producer.
She soon became a senior presenter & even presented for popular leagues such as UEFA Champions League and La Liga. She stayed at Real Madrid TV for a little more than 2 years, but then left in July 2007.

In August 2007, Rourke joined Liverpool Football Club TV, in England, where she still works, as the lead presenter and producer. She follows the Champions League matches worldwide as well as LFC’s training sessions.
From May 2012 to December 2013, while simultaneously retaining her job at LFC TV, Claire was also a sports news presenter for BBC News in London, England. While at BBC, she was a part of the London Olympics 2012 presenting team and was tasked with the FINA Diving world Cup at the London Aquatics Centre.
In June 2017, Claire received an impressive promotion at LFC TV & now holds the title of ‘Head of Content.’
