  1. I went to Duke and am a lifelong Duke basketball fan. HOWEVER, I DO NOT GLOAT EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE HAD MANY GOOD YEARS AND COACH K IS ONE OF THE BEST COACHES EVER!!!

PLEASE PLEASE TELL CYNTHIA NOT TO GLOAT AND GO ON AND ON ABOUT NORTH TEXAS. I am happy for them and they have a good team. But she needs to be a good winner because there are also those whose teams lost.

PLEASE JUST KEEP HER OFF THE AIR MONDAY

  2. Cynthia is my favorite newscaster and has been since she came on t ten o’clock news. I have painted her portrait, in oil, on 14 by 11-inch canvas. She may not approve of this, but I still did it!

  3. I recall the week she came on the air on Channel 8. Hansen was himself but he was delicate. It is so neat to have Cynthia still with us and not having moved on to a bigger and better life. I say that because I am confident the major broadcasters (FOX, CNN, ESPN, etc.) will, and I suspect already have, make a run for her. She has it all. It will be a very sad day in Dallas should she decide to leave. I just hope WFAA doesn’t get some over his head GM and upsets the cart.

Cynthia, from my entire family of Diana and our children Jon (Rock), Angela (your BIGGEST fan), and Gerard, thank you for being a guest in our home all those long days and nights you have kept us informed. We love you…

    Vaya con Dios mi amiga.
    Gary

  4. I enjoy watching Cynthia on Channel 8. I wish she would not wear glasses. They hide her expressive eyes.

  5. Jan Blankenship

I have always enjoyed Cynthia’s reporting until her aggressive interview with Governor Abbott tonight (6/19/20). Wow! He stayed calm and she got more agitated as she talked to him. Please tell me she hasn’t fallen into the blatant political and hysterical coverage of Covid-19!! The virus is bad enough! We all can wear masks, stay 6 ’ apart, and still be free.come on, Cynthia.

  6. Please change “learnt” to “learned”. She was a journalism major. Hopefully, she’s appalled!
