- C-Net was a local channel at State College, Pennsylvania. Erica became its weather forecaster.
- Her internship took her to WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It helped her improve her on-air performances.

- Erica’s earliest career choice was ‘teaching.’ Her reason was very simple, as she loved to pass out papers!
- On August 7, 2010, Erica signed up with WHIO-TV and Storm Center 7 as a meteorologist and reporter.
- For three years, she enthralled viewers with her forecasts about the Tri-State’s weather via print media, radio and digital platforms.
- She moved to WKRC-TV, Cincinnati in Ohio in October 2013.
- As of 2019, she is still there & continues to host two shows on two channels. One is on WKRC at 4 PM, while the other is on STAR 64 at 10 PM.
- Erica also appears at 5:30 PM on the Local 12 Weather Authority, which is the Tri-State’s largest weather team.
