Jaclyn was born to Renee (mother) & Steve DeAugustino (father) & was raised in Flagler County, Florida.
Her father Steve is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team.

One of her brothers Michael DeAugustino was named on the 2020 NWCA (National Wrestling Coaches Association) All-Americans list.

Jaclyn attended the University of Florida (UF) and graduated in 2014, ’Magna-Cum-Laude’ with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and Telecommunications.

At UF, she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority as well as the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
She was also a member of her school Flagler Palm Coast High School’s dancing team throughout the course of her studies. DeAugustino continued to dance after college and spent 2 seasons as a Ben-Gal dancer for the Cincinnati Bengals sports team.

During her time as a Ben-Gal, Jaclyn also interned for the Cincinnati Reds as a host for their in-game segments.
She was also an intern for the WESH 2 station during May and August of 2013 and was present in the newsroom when George Zimmerman went on trial for the murder of a teenager, Trayvon Martin.
In addition to interning for WESH 2, DeAugustino also interned for the Golf Channel during the same time period, focusing mainly on producing teases, highlights, and previews for the channel’s big fanbase.

From January of 2013 to December of the same year, Jaclyn worked as a newsroom intern for the Gainesville Television Network. During her time there, she edited news packages and wrote stories, and shadowed senior reporters both in and out of the newsroom.
She also spent almost 3 years working for WUFT-TV as a reporter, and a sports and news anchor.
In January of 2014, she joined Gator Vision as a sports feature reporter. She only worked for the company for five months before joining the Sinclair Broadcast Group as a reporter for their WLOS ABC 13 team in September 2014.

Almost 2 years after joining the Sinclair Broadcast Group, DeAugustino settled down in Cincinnati, Ohio, and became a WCPO-TV reporter and anchor for the E.W. Scripps Company. She eventually left the company in February of 2019.
Jaclyn returned to cheerleading with the Cincinnati Bengals in May 2017 but finally called it quits in April 2019 after two years. Notably, her team was a part of the Bengals’ 50th Season celebrations, actively engaging with the Cincinnati community through various events and performing in front of thousands of fans.
From April 2019 to September 2022, Jaclyn was based in her home state of Florida, where she worked as a reporter and traffic anchor for WESH.

Since September 2022, Jaclyn has been serving as an Anchor/Host at CBS Sports HQ.
