Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Kate was born in Rochester, New York, but moved to the city of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania with her family, in 1990.
- She is happily married to Scott Eby. Scott is a senior software engineer. The couple first met on Kate’s first day of work at Accuweather. Her husband proposed to her on-air while she was working there.
- Scott and Kate have three children – Two sons, and in May 2017, Kate gave birth to her baby daughter named Solenne Marit Elisabeth.
- In June 2017, Bilo was hospitalized after a serious health scare. Her doctors found multiple blood clots in Kate’s lungs, a disease known as pulmonary embolism. In fact, she had lost her mother too on account of lung cancer.

- Kate attended Phoenixville Area High School. After this, she attended the Penn State University, from 1999 to 2003. There she earned degrees in Spanish Language, and International Business.
- However, Kate wasn’t fully satisfied with her degree in International Business. She decided to pursue her school-time interest in weather, and by studying at Mississippi State University from 2006 to 2010, she gained a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences &- Meteorology.

- Kate’s first professional job in meteorology was at AccuWeather, where she worked from 2005 to 2010. Her responsibilities involved providing forecasts on TV and radio for many clients such as Fox News, CBN and ABC News Now.
- Then, in 2010, she became the main morning weather anchor for the Bloomsberg Television Network.
- After leaving AccuWeather in 2010, Kate was employed as a meteorologist at CBS3 Eye Witness News, starting in October of the same year. Several times, she guest hosted CBS’ daytime Emmy Award nominated talkshow, The Talk.
- Kate later became the Chief Meteorologist on the program. Her show usually airs on weeknights at 5, 6, 10 and 11 PM.

I used to enjoy watching your weather reports but recently you have a habit of blocking the full weeks’ temps and forecast for about the last two days of the graphics. You see a blank wall, but we see the weather report. Must you always stand in front of the board at the end of your report…Can you just step back a little off-camera and let us read the report?
Also, when referring to geography, the correct word to describe distance is “farther”, not further. For example, “as we look farther to the north…..

Watching local news from 6 – 6:30 and national news from 6:30 -7 is something I enjoy doing ; Kate is my go-to for the local weather forecast. I must admit I always have to replay her forecast a second time because that is when I actually focus on what it is that she is saying….(What a beauty!)

Kate Bilo’s weather reporting during this week of tornado watches, warnings and ominous thunderstorms was the best. She is knowledgeable, confident and was able to explain so much more than other meteorologists. We, the viewers, knew exactly what was happening in our areas. Kate really is outstanding in her communication skills as well. She has a command of her field that is readily apparent and our family enjoys her personal manner as well.

First, you are adorable! However, the light blue dress you’re wearing tonight 5/16 is not flattering at all! Aside from making You look pregnant, the cap sleeves are Ill-fitting and the cut of the bodice…Where it meets (or should) meet the sleeves is off, leaving a small opening where bare skin is exposed. It doesn’t look intentional, but regardless, it doesn’t look good! I know I sound so cruel and insulting so please let me stress that it is the dress and only the dress that has issues!! not every style works on every body, no matter how thin and honestly I don’t think this dress would flatter any body! Toss it!
