Yes and doesn’t voice her political views. She also isn’t a racist unlike Fox news “noon” reporter!

  2. Patricia Cichy

PLEASE someone buy Maurielle a pair of pants! It’s soooo painful watching her trying to cover her crotch area, with her legs tightly crossed
and her arms crossed over her knees! Please Help Her!!!

  3. In reading the past comments, I too missed you, Maurielle Lue, during your Covid scare.

I still would watch and enjoy everyone…it was still good and entertaining, then you got better and showed us your struggle and showed us some of what you went through. So glad you were blessed to make it through and you were back on The Nine, but only for a minute. Now you’re gone again, what’s up? I’m Just Saying!! I’ve noticed you’re no longer on “The Nine”. Not even three days a week anymore.

I enjoyed watching the crew (You, Dena, Ryan, and Derek), I even miss Alan when he did the weather and mostly his fitness segments too. Whatever happened to him and where is your girlfriend? Missing you gurl!

  4. I love Maurielle! Watching her makes me smile, when she has the day off I truly miss her. Keep shining girl!

  5. Maurielle is one of the most intelligent, classy, and s*xiest personalities on our airwaves. She seems like a down-to-earth girl. One I’d like to meet one day. She’s truly beautiful inside and out.

We had heard Marrielle say at a pub last year a seemingly drunk woman came up to her and said she was shaving her belly with a rusty razor. Well, that comes straight from The Irish Rover song: What do ya Do with A Drunken Sailor! Had a good laugh. All meant in fun, I’m sure! Though I’m married to a Sicilian, I am a bonafide Irish person.

  7. Leonard Dessausure

I think MARIELLE is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen!. She is a beautiful Angel, Luv you

  8. Rhonda Walker is the sharpest, classiest news person on local TV news. She is a standout for channel 4.Hugh Perkins and Lori Pinion are the classier news people on channel 2.L

      1. I really miss Deena and Maurielle together. I noticed Maurielle has her star charm on her necklace…she looks very cute. I love the good looking men on the show. I think that this is the best morning news but still like my channel 4 anchors as well. I wish you all could come together for the news and weather.

  9. Matt Heileman

I totally agree. And not only that if there is something in the News that she reports, and she doesn’t like it, she rolls her eyes, or makes some type of negative comment.
Your job is to report the News. I really don’t care about your negative view, eye rolling opinions.
Plain and simple, report it, then move on.

    1. Caroline Stackhouse

Mauriel love watching you miss you when you’re not there you are a beautiful person love you too Deena

  10. Jeannie Mertes

You people are crazy. Maurielle is gorgeous and a very nice person. Her dresses aren’t any shorter than Jessica or Deena’s. I am watching it right now and the three of the ones I just mentioned were on the couch and Maurielle had a dress that was at her knees when she was sitting and Deena and Jessica’s were really short. If you don’t like someone keep your comments to yourself. I love Maurielle.

    1. Jeann Jackson

I agree Marielle Lue is absolutely beautiful and I believe that the people that are attacking her have other issues going on which involve not liking people of color, she is sweet, classy and educated and some people are just hateful, but I haven’t heard or read about anyone making bad comments about the other ladies, and by the way you can tell when they don’t particularly agree with a story they are reporting also, you hateful people need to back up off Ms. Lue !

  11. Richard Jackson

Maurielle is why I watch. Her hair? Fine. I see a beautiful news anchor with a wonderful personality. If you don’t like her, you can change the channel. We will STILL enjoy watching her.

  12. One of my most admired person, classy and has good manners from great home. I am very proud of her and I can watch her all day. Keep up the good job, you are well admired. Do not worry about the hatters, your news ability started at your tender age, be proud.

  13. First & foremost I’m proud of you Mariella Lue, you are smart, intelligent, disciplined & will no doubt achieve God’s plan for your life! Do NOT ALLOW “ANY” human being ‘within or without, personal or professional” or the Darkside of SOCIAL MEDIA to effect your path Spiritually! We see how We can circle like vultures, there will ALWAYS BE Critics in your line of work, RELEASE the bad, consider the constructive, GROW & MOVE ON BUT BE TRUE TO YOU, Your profession & who U seek to be! With the “loss of Precious life” & 2Children losing their Precious Momma WE ALL NEED TO BACK DOWN ON PASSING JUDGEMENT! We have not looked IN YOUR Closet! U could put the Same Dress on 4 Women all the Same dress size & they would ALL look Differently on EACH ONE! Some women are Curvier, Rounder, Thinner, Flatter, Big Legs etc. ! We shouldn’t conclude anythg from this, as it is just as RIDICULOUS to talk about “her hair” dyed or fried, blue or hot pink, weave, braids, curls, afro, kinky, straight, silky or wigs or hair extensions that have been used FIRST In HOLLYWOOD by caucasion movie stars to ‘fool’ us with a false sense of beauty! How about “boob-jobs” or “face-lifts” who did it First? Something ‘most’ could not afford to even consider doing, you’re working with now! Now its mainstream! We pick who we choose out of ENVY, JEALOUSY, HATE, PREJUDICE or RACISM usually if we’re Real about it. STOP IT! INTELLIGENCE! Maurielle Is beautiful & Growing! Ur WORTHY Maurielle! God blessI DON’T want us to lose another Gift of Life over IGNORANCE! I So wish I could Turn back time & say Something worthy that would make a difference to Jessica! RIP

  14. Dr. Pattison

All this is, are a bunch of opinions that do not mean anything. No one can please everyone all the time. The great part about America is, if you do not like what, or who you are watching. Well, change the channel.

  15. Hilton Graham

Damn many of these people just look for negative things to say about. Other people, Guess what. !…Negative people, …What do You look like. ?. What do your hair look like. ?. And your attitudes can’t be to good because you find time to criticize others.

  16. Latricia Pritchett

Maurielle is a beautiful black woman who happens to love her weave, inspite of it all she is young and has a very bright future ahead of her. When it comes to fake hair, white women most of the ones you see on television has ” fake hair” as well…They just call it extensions !! Let’s keep it real

  17. Whom ever watches Fox 2 news to rudicule the way someone dressess is clearly not watching the correct show. Fine out which Night and channels SAY YES TO THE DRESS comes on and critic that. And let Maurielle do what most of us enjoy watching her do and that is entertaining us with her wit, knowledge, and personality. YOU WON’T BE MISSED, I PROMISE.

  18. Erin Melasni

Carmen harlan was a short lady who managed to dress properly. Height has nothing to do with class

    1. Carmen Harlan is NOT short, but seemed it because her Co-Anchors were always very tall. Mort Crim – 6’3″, and Devin Scillian – 6’5″.

    2. Carmen Harlan isn’t a short woman. My son used to be her paper career. We lived in the same neighborhood for many yrs. But yes she did dress appropriately at all times so you’re exactly right height has nothing to do with class. I like Maurielle Lue and Deena Centifanti, but DONOT like their apparel.not a good look for A Reporter

  19. Maurielle Lue has become one of favorite Fox 2 newscasters, she’s pretty, intelligent, quirky, and tells it how she sees it. I met Maurielle at Aretha’s annual Christmas Soiree, she was so approachable and very pleasant. I will continue to watch Fox 2 and I am a big fan of all of Fox 2 anchors…Keep up the great work!!!

  20. I love Maurielle lue I watch her every morning
she’s smart talented an beautiful big ups to Maurielle email me pretty lady your favorite
    fan

  21. Donald Johnson

Marrielle Lue is the most talented, and beautiful of anchor women…I would stop watching fox2 news if she ever leaves…Marrielle is sophisticated, glamorous, educated, extremely knowledgeable, and very gracious…Detroit Fox 2 hit the lottery when they hired her….I enjoy her as a news caster.. She is definitely the most attractive woman in news ( in my opinion)….I wish her well….I hope to meet her!….I am a tremendous fan of hers and I wish her the best in whatever she does…

  22. Maurielle is a beautiful women (her parents must be very proud of their daughter) and has an elegant wardrobe which she wears very well.
Maurielle is an excellent reporter and I love her comments and open honesty during her segments.
I truly enjoy seeing her interact with each member of the Fox 2 team. Mariella has a great sense of humor. She is missed on her days off.
It sounds as if I’m going to have to join the “The Lue Crew” or I may have to start up “The old girls Mariella Lue Crew” Lol!
Keep up the good work Maurielle.

  23. Good Morning Everyone,
Lighten up. Channel 2 has a great lineup of journalists. They compliment one another and make a great team. Joy exudes from them all.

  24. Chiquita Smith

Wow, with all the confusion and death being reported all over the workd, the focus is on someone’s hair(weave), the woman has made awesome strides in a world where a woman has to work extra hard to be appreciated for her talents. It’s pretty sad that class is associated with how you look, true class is inner class and that’s something that’s manifested from your spirit not your clothing or your hair. For all the naysayers, examine yourself before you judge others. So called God believers, try not judging, Matthew 7Th chapter, try encoutaging our fellow female colleague in her accomplishments, rather than a non relevant derogatory opinion that does nothing for no one!
    Just saying!

    You go Maurielle!
