Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Simon was born on September 18, 1961, and grew up in Southampton, Hampshire.
- He is married to his lovely wife, Norwegian radiographer Tove Karlsen. Together, they have two children, Marcus and Louisa, and they all live in Buckinghamshire. The family owns a cat.
- For his education, Biagi obtained a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from Edinburgh Napier University.
- Robert De Niro is Biagi’s favorite movie star, and his all-time favorite film is “The Omen”. Music-wise, he gravitates towards the rock band Genesis and the reggae vibes of Bob Marley’s “Rastaman.”
Career, Job, Salary and Net Worth :
- Biagi has held many different jobs, such as a mortuary attendant, recruitment consultant, the host on WHEEL OF FORTUNE, and even as a model at one point. He eventually found his way in front of the camera and has been there ever since.
- He began his television career as a presenter with Scottish Television’s EIKON, where he looked at serious topics like drug addiction and prostitution. He was responsible for researching, producing, directing and scripting these features.
- Later, he moved to London Weekend Television (LWT)’s show CLOSE SHAVE where he scripted the program. The show was much lighter than his previous show and covered topics like pop music and love.
- Biagi became one of the first weathermen to be featured on Good Morning Television (GMTV). He co-presented the show live from Australia, and he often presented from many locations around the UK and the rest of the world.
- He has managed to find himself in many unconventional locations to broadcast the weather, from between the humps of an Arabian camel, on the high wire of a trapeze, underwater in a shark tank, the top of Sydney bridge, and even a bathtub full of milk!
- Biagi was also featured on BBC1 on the show REAL ROOMS, a daytime makeover series. Always ready to help with the physical work, he was able to do so due to his experience as a joiner on a building site when he had just finished school.
- Since then, channels such as ITV, Sky News and Channel 5 have since utilized Biagi’s unique talents for other DIY shows, news coverage, and even his own chat show called CAFÉ BIAGI.
- In 2004, however, Biagi found his new ‘home’ at QVC UK, a global home shopping network.

Just caught a glimpse of Mr Simon Biagi on QVC, and of course he was familiar from earlier days on STV, but I would respectfully ask Simon if he was in any way related to a teaching colleague of mine’s from the early 1990s, with the same surname, at Holyrood High School, Edinburgh?
