- In 2006, she was hired as a weekend reporter and anchor for WMTW. She received a promotion in 2010 and began working as the main anchor for the weeknight news shows.
- In 2013, Sabol partnered with Roger Griswold and Steve Minich to work for WMTW 5 p.m. news. She also began producing and reporting a program called Health Headlines and another one called Heart Health 8 which is a monthly show that focuses on several issues that are related to heart health. This particular show was created as part of a partnership deal with the American Heart Association.
- In 2013, the Heart Health 8 program was given an award by the Maine Association of Broadcasters. The award came after Tracy and her team covered a story about a woman named Carmen who was dealing with morbid obesity and on the journey to lose weight.
- In the same year, the program was also given the annual Maine Public Relations Council’s Golden Arrow Award.
- Other jobs Tracy has worked throughout her impressive career include stints with CNN, WXIA-TV, WHYY-FM, PBS, and NBC as a reporter and news anchor.
