Shortly after university, Izabella began working as a News Breakfast Intern for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). The internship only lasted for one month before she moved to Nine Entertainment Co. for another month-long internship.

In July 2016, Izabella interned briefly for the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) before beginning a full-time position at the Australian News Channel as a Liaison.
10 months later, she was offered a job as a journalist for WIN Television.
Throughout her time at WIN, she covered various protests, high-profile cases, and natural disasters.
