Profile : Rinku Karmarkar (neé Rinku Dhawan) started her career in 1990s when she was spotted by Gufi Paintal with the short TV series Kanoon. In the 90s, she was also a part of Swabhiman, where she played the role of Neetu Malhotra.
Later, she went on to play a lot of roles in her career, a few of the negative ones. For the role of Tai in the show Yeh Vada Raha, she went bald to play the role.
Marriage : She is married to actor Kiran Karmarkar. Kiran & Rinku married while shooting for Balaji’s Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. Their wedding date is 1st March 2001.
While on the sets of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii fame, Kiran played the role of Om Agarwal while Rinku played his sister Chaya. The romance bloomed and they got married. They also have a young son together.
She is a big fan of dancing and is a huge devotee of Lord Shiv Shankar in real life. Her favorite actors in real-life are Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Popular actresses Janhvi Vora and Ashita Dhawan are her cousins.
