From a plump Debbie of Wake up Sid to the svelte actress, Shruti’s transformation has been phenomenal. The actress in 2011 reduced her weight by 15 kg. She admitted that her loss was due to health concerns. She asserted that she wasn’t following the size-zero fads but simply wanted to be fit and that her choices are based on her instincts rather than deliberation.
On relationships and love, she maintained that one shouldn’t take loved ones for granted. In her shows, she had been seen as a career-oriented woman whose husband is fine working under her. In real-life too, she believes in gender equality without ego clashes from either side.
Dream Roles :
Shruti’s dream role is to work in a Sanjay Bhansali movie. A lead role isn’t so important but it is all about the satisfaction one feels after work. Her personal mantra towards success is working hard and continuously working on oneself.

Starting her career with theatre and voiceovers, Bapna has come a long way. In her initial days, she had lent her voice to many animated shows and worked in plays with many famous artists. But soon she got bored with theatre and moved on to television.
She dived into the pool of television in 2008 with NDTV Imagine’s Jasuben Jayantilaal Joshi Ki Joint Family as Parul.
