A small amount of coffee can leave a lasting stain. Similar to that, Smriti Khanna left a mark on television in such a short time with a few but impactful projects. Her role in TV shows such as It’s Complicated and Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi gained her many fans.
Personal Life :
Born as a Noida girl, on 6th July 1988, she studied in Apeejay School at Noida. Her personal life comes into focus since 2015. She was rumoured to be dating her co-star Mayank Kalra. Although there was no official confirmation from both yet there was plenty of evidence on Smriti’s Instagram account. Her affectionate captions to Mayank’s picture were enough to raise suspicions.
In 2015, she took a break from her TV shows and went to Istanbul with friends to celebrate her birthday. She had lamented the fact that after joining Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi she hadn’t had time to herself. The shoot required her to work for 8-9 months at the stretch which left no time for her to relax.
Her height is around 5 feet 4 inches.
Career :
Initially, she did a course in jewellery designing. But her passion for acting, dancing and performing superseded this path. Even in her school time, she used to take part in cultural activities. She soon made her portfolio and jumped into modelling bandwagon. She started her career from It’s Complicated on Channel V in 2013.
Later she went on to star in a number of good projects –

She extended her horizons and worked in Punjabi movie Jatt Airways, a rom-com, in 2013 as Sweety. Her role as Jo in It’s Complicated and Ritika in Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi is a huge factor in her popularity.
In Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi she played a rich girl who has returned from U.S.A after her studies. The story developed a love triangle between her character, Ritika and lead characters Ranveer and Ishaani. Her character was mostly negative as she tried her best to separate Ishaani and Ranveer in the show.
