As a man with silky brown hair, an angled face, and a toned figure, it’s no wonder that Isaac Carew is currently a full-time model living in the UK. As if his drop-dead good looks weren’t enough, Carew is also a professional chef and hosts his own online cooking website The Dirty Dishes.
Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Isaac was born on March 24, 1986, in London, England.
- He called the borough of Hackney his home, and considers himself a “Hackney boy.”
- Parents : Carew’s father and Godfather both worked as chefs when he was young, and his mother was a mental health professional.
- Growing up with dyslexia, a reading disorder, he never excelled at school. As a result, he focused all his attention on cooking.
- Now into his mid-30s, Carew continues to model and cook. He has no children and is unmarried.
Culinary Education :
- After 6th form school, the rough equivalent to the United States’ final few years of high school, Carew enrolled in Thanet College’s culinary program. Thanet College, located in Broadstairs, Kent, was a further education school, which is roughly equivalent to vocational schools in the United States.
- After graduating from Thanet College, he went on to take two more years of courses to learn how to cater.
Profession & Culinary School :
- Isaac’s career in the kitchen truly began at 11 years old when he began working in his father’s restaurant doing odd jobs and bussing tables.
- After graduating from culinary school and studying catering, he began working at a local pub. His colleagues there sent his CV to the Gordon Ramsay Group, an umbrella company that oversees all of the celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants and holdings.
- The group accepted his CV and moved him to work at the luxury restaurant The Connaught.
- He then moved to Miami, Florida, and began working at the Cielo, where he met chef Angela Hartnett. Hartnett became his mentor, and he thrived under her direction.
Isaac Carew Net Worth : Modelling Career :
- Carew bounced around a few restaurants after that until he was scouted at the age of 22.
- In between restaurant jobs, he took the opportunity to try something new, and spent a few months getting into modeling.
- He is currently represented by agencies all over the world, including Next New York, located in New York City; New Madison, located in Paris; and Uno Models, located in Barcelona. His head agency, or “mother” agency, is Next London, located in London, England.
The Dirty Dishes & Social Media Fame :
- After modeling for a few years and being out of the kitchen, Carew began to miss his time with food. He began cooking and Instagramming his creations. He then started a blog, The Dirty Dishes, and followed with a YouTube channel of the same name.
- He continues to share recipes and cooking tips on these platforms and focuses on simple, healthy, affordable food.
