Introduction :
- Daniel Versace is the youngest son of Donatella Versace. Donatella is the sister of the Versace label founder, Gianni Versace.
- It has been confirmed by his mother in interviews that Daniel doesn’t want to carry the family name and has changed his name to keep his life private
Life and Family :
- Daniel Versace was born in 1989 to parents Donatella Versace and Paul Beck. He was raised outside Milan, Italy along with his older sister Allegra Versace Beck. He grew up close to the musician Elton John and also learned how to play the piano from him. His mother’s friend Axl Rose was one of his guitar teachers when he was growing up.
- Daniel’s father, Paul Beck was an American Versace model when Donatella met him. They divorced in 2000 and he lives in New York.
- While in high school, Daniel was part of a punk rock band called Nucleus. His mother had mentioned this in the interview while saying that her son wasn’t into fashion at all, just music.
- Soon after finishing his studies, Daniel changed his name so as to not have anything to do with the Versace name. He believed that having the Versace name would have given him an unfair advantage with his music. His mother wasn’t happy with the decision but respected it and even attends his performances and talks about how happy Daniel seemed with his music.
- Daniel right now lives in London and makes rock ’n’ roll and hard rock music albums for which he plays all instruments by himself.
