  1. Dear Eleanor,

You are healed by staying busy with other people. I think moving together heals psychosis and depression. Chilling cures ADHD and Borderline. Buckling cures Bipolar disorder and auto mutilation.

  2. Sharon, I’m someone also struggling with schizophrenia for 14 years now. Since 14, I had gone through most of the battles myself off medication since my parents were huge sceptics of anything western medicine. I am trying to recover with hopeful optimism for the first time in my life, and I can certainly say a positive mindset on his part, and yours make a huge difference. My mom always believed I could recover, even though I didn’t before, which now her beliefs are growing on me, after so many years. Your love and support for him are crucial to his recovery. There are also books out there you can read, aerobic exercise also helps, in conditions, he can handle, and early good sleep. Have faith!

  3. Sharon Mcphaul Alston

My son is diagnosed with schizophrenia. He is 36 years old. Your speech on TED – THIS IS MY STORY OF SCHIZOPHRENIA was so helpful and so encouraging to me. Is there any organization that you know of in Texas, USA that I might get help for him? We have seen psychiatrists for years. He did go thru multiple childhood traumas. What kind of therapy would you suggest. I am his Mother and his only support system. Your speech gave me hope. What can I do to help? Any advice would be appreciated more than you know.
