- Sonika made her debut in the entertainment industry with a Haryanvi song “Moti Hen.” She acted in the video which released on YouTube on 19th June 2016.
- In the same year she co-starred in the superhit song “Sandal” by Raju Punjabi opposite Vijay Verma and Anjali Raghav.
- Then in the year 2017, she acted in the super popular song “4G Ka Jamana,” which has so far received 105+ million views and counting.
- In 2018, Sonika starred in the song “Chhalia” above Pandit Lakhmi Chand’s Ragini. This was alongside the popular Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma. The song went on to become a brilliant hit. In this particular song, she surprised everyone by playing numerous characters such as a village girl, sister-in-law, sister-in-law, or the contractor’s contractor.

- Sonika’s mother wanted her daughter to become a doctor while her father wanted her to get into the government service. However, Sonika only wanted to become an actor.
- A song she acted in titled “Fozan,” was removed from YouTube a few days after the release of the song.
- Her brother Ravi Singh was murdered on 22nd March 2019, on the occasion of Holi. Her family & few other supporters blocked the Panipat-Delhi highway in protest till they were assured by the station-in-charge.
