Aroh Velankar has completed his Mechanical Engineering degree from MIT College of Engineering, Pune.
He did his primary schooling from Karnatak High School, Pune.

Marriage and Love Life :

Aroh met his wife Ankita while studying at MIT college in Pune. Throughout their engineering course and college days, they both became best friends.
Ankita used to often help Aroh with his engineering assignments as he would be busy in his theatre activities and plays.
She is a Marwadi so at the start, both their families resisted, however, eventually agreed for the wedding.

The couple got engaged on 1st July 2017 and got married a few months later on 11th December 2017. The receptions were held in Pune and Mumbai on 13th and 15th December.
Their marriage was a “Smart Wedding” as the couple prepared an Android and iOS app called “Aroh Weds Ankita”. The invitees were able to see venue details, accommodation options, events, photos, etc on this app.

Aaroh made his debut in 2014 Marathi film Rege as a lead actor. The film featured big stars of Marathi industry like Mahesh Manjrekar and Pushkar Shrotri.
In 2015, he featured in ‘Kevada’ Marathi short film, which got a number of recognitions – BEST FILM JURY Prabhat Chitrabharati 2015, Dadasaheb Phalke Film Fest 2015, Smita Patil Short Film Festival 2015, Ahmednagar Int’l Short Film Festival 2015 and Ankur Short Film Festival 2015.
Later, in 2016, he was also seen in the comedy movie ‘Ghanta’ along with other young actors Ameya Wagh and Saksham Kulkarni.

He made his debut in Bollywood film Yaara Silly Silly directed by Subhash Sehgal, as a recording Engineer.
In 2019, he was a contestant in Colors Marathi’s reality show Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2. Velankar did not join the show from Day 1, but entered a few weeks later as a wild card entry.
