Madhav Abhyanakar is a popular Marathi actor, originally from Pune.
He started his movie career in 1994, working in the Marathi Film Vishwavinayak. In the next few years, he went on to feature in multiple movies. He was a part of one of the most celebrated and controversial plays in Marathi – ‘Ghashiram Kotwal.’
One of the promising roles that Abhyankar got recognition from is his role as ‘Anna’ in Zee Marathi serial Ratris Khel Chale. He played a small part in the first season, and a major one in the second season. Madhav managed to play the character of a sociopath quite convincingly. Though Madhav is originally from Pune, this show is based on Konkan region thus he had to learn the Malvani language. So it took him more than a month to get hands-on with it and for that, he used to watch the Malwani plays online. He also had to reduce 6-7 kgs weight for this role.
