Sampada Kulkarni is a Marathi actress, who has acted in a number of Marathi films and TV shows.
Personal Profile :
For her education, Sampada went to Mumbai University to complete her M.A. and later moved to Pune University to pursue her Ph.D. in Marathi literature. She started her career with acting in Balnatya, when she lived in Thane. The Crow was her first commercial natak.
Talents besides Acting :
Sampada is also a writer for many TV shows and has written several books. Kachpani, Bakul Fule, and Gunthi are some of her publications. She was also a host for Tak Dhina Dhin (along with Aadesh Bandekar) and the show Ganga Jamuna, which gave her a lot of popularity. Furthermore, she is a trained Kathak dancer.
Acting with natural ease is Sampada’s strength and she adores actresses like Reema Lagoo and Neena Kulkarni. Joglekar also entered the world of direction with the movie Babanchi Shala.
She has won many awards such as Alpha Gaurav, Thane Gaurav, Mata Sanman, and Kalangan Puraskar. With so many facets and talents, she is a great gem of the Marathi industry.
