In 2003, Evy started work as an intern with Good Morning America, where she researched and wrote on-air stories.
From 2003 to 2004, she did reporting for USC television

In 2005, first step Evy started work for E! True Hollywood Story.
At a Fox affiliate in Fresno, she got the opportunity for an on-air job in local news and serve as the duties of traffic reporter.
Later, for two years, i.e., from 2005 to 2007, she was associated with KMPH-TV, Fresno, CA, as a traffic/weather anchor for GREAT DAY Morning Newscast.

Following this, she moved to Southern California at KGTV in San Diego. Her role was to anchor the morning news and simultaneously do the Spanish language news segments on Azteca America. At KGTV, she learned a lot about writing, editing, shooting, reporting, and anchoring.
In September 2009, she joined KGPE-TV as an anchor/reporter and did a newscast for 5 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm slots.

In 2014, she became part of San Antonio’s NBC affiliate WOAI team.
In 2017, Evy mentioned that she was fired from WOAI even before her contract was up, citing poor ratings. She mentioned that she was disappointed & cried after the decision, but later said that all things happen for a good reason.
