She got married in 1993 to her husband Michael Jones and they have two daughters.

Bohl began her professional career in Lubbock, Texas, as a General Assignment Reporter at KAMC-TC.
She then moved to the CBS affiliate KLBK-TV where she acted as assistant news director and intern coordinator. She also produced newscasts and eventually reached the anchor desk for the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts.

Bohl then moved East to Southwest Florida to work at the NBC-affiliate WBBH-TV. There, she anchored the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts while also serving as the station’s consumer reporter and business reporter at times.
She eventually relocated to Alamo city, following her husband’s career and leaving broadcasting in order to be a full-time mom for her first baby.
When she was ready to get back to work, she joined the News 4 San Antonio team, where she just celebrated her 20th Anniversary.
