- Susan Sailer was born in Newport Beach, California, on December 22, 1959.
Marriage to Dr. Drew Pinsky :
- Susan Pinsky met her husband, Drew Pinsky, in Laguna Beach, California, in 1984. She rejected him at first because she had a boyfriend. Years later, they met again at KROQ radio station, and they eventually married on 20th July 1991.
- Drew Pinsky is the famous Dr. Drew, who is a board-certified internist, addiction medicine specialist, and media personality. He is best known for his radio talk show Loveline.
- Susan’s father-in-law was the late Mortan Pinsky (1925-2009), whose parents emigrated from Ukraine. Her mother-in-law is Helena Stanton, who was a famous singer and actress and was born in an upper-class Victorian family in Philadelphia.
- On 10th November 1992, she gave birth to triplets. Douglas Pinsky, Jordan Pinsky, and Paulina Marie Pinsky. All three of her children graduated from college in May 2015.

- Originally, Susan wanted to have quadruplets and had embryos implanted. However, one of the embryos did not survive, resulting in triplets. Later, she confessed to being ultimately thankful, because she couldn’t imagine handling four children, the triplets themselves proving quite a task.
- Susan showed her support to Nadya Suleman, the woman who gave birth to octuplets, by donating a case of powdered Similac and 400 diapers. The diapers only lasted one and a half weeks!
