Former waitress Eleanor Kerrigan is now counted as one of America’s funniest women!
While working at the world-famous club The Comedy Store visiting comedians would laugh incessantly at Eleanor’s stories of growing up. Realizing that she had an innate talent for comedy, Eleanor never looked back.

Often outspoken, which audiences love, Eleanor now has a glittering career telling stories about her hilarious upbringing.

Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :

Parents : Her father, a former marine, owned a typewriter store while her mother, a former secretary, stayed at home to bring up the family.
Eleanor is the eight one of ten children and grew up in a three-room house in South Philadelphia, where her mother still lives today.
Six of her siblings are brothers & the rest two are sisters. Her siblings are named Tommy, Karen, Kathleen, Jimmy, Johnnie, Edie, Bobbie, Charlie, Billy.

When Eleanor was eight years old, her parents split up, but she went to work in her father’s store every day after school.

She was educated at an All-girls Catholic high school.
In the evenings, she watched the news with her mother and tried to make her laugh by recreating some of the newsreels.
As a youngster, she spent seven years as a lifeguard at her local pool.

Later, she attended the Joanne Baron / D. W. Brown Studio in Santa Monica, California, to try and fulfill her dreams of becoming an actress.

Recognition of Eleanor’s talents first came as one of ‘Harley’s Angels’ on UPN’s Women of Wrestling.

After co-starring in Dice Undisputed with Andrew Dice Clay, he persuaded her to go on the road with him to help promote the show because he thought her one-woman show was ‘hilarious and that everyone should see it.’
From here, Kerrigan launched her successful stand-up comedy career regaling stories of her childhood in Philadelphia and her later adult life in Los Angeles.
