Sarah hails from Hayward, California. She was born there on February 17, 1978.
Since 1983, she was raised in Calhoun, Georgia, as her family moved there for her mother’s work.

As a child, she never expected to have a career in comedy. In fact, she was frequently told by friends & family that she wasn’t funny!

Education and Early Career :

Sarah’s primary education was completed at the Gordon Central High School & in 1996 she went on to study at the University of Georgia.

While studying she worked as a performer at Six Flags, a major theme park in located in Cobb County.
The long commute between college and work was challenging and Sarah chose to transfer to Georgia State University in 1997.
She graduated in 2000 with a major in Film & a minor in Theatre.

In 1999, Sarah traveled to Sorbonne, France, and spent the summer studying “Commedia Del Arte.”

In 2005, Sarah contributed to finding The Straight Jacket Society, an organization aiming to help new actors, comedians, and all-around performers make it big in Hollywood, without draining the fun from the process.
It was after appearing in 4 episodes of season 7 of Reno 911, the young hopeful began to gain recognition.
In 2007, she was one of the four comedians to form the cast of Comics on Duty: We Love You Mrs. Bevins.

Comics was a TV documentary that told the stories of US troops in Iraq at the beginning of the war.
Sarah and her co-stars traveled to the military bases to meet and speak with soldiers.
She was also a part of 12 comedy tours for US forces in Afghanistan, Singapore, Guam, Germany, and Okinawa.
