Pratiksha joined dance classes along with her brothers and sister. Her friend’s brother had joined an acting workshop. So she told Pratiksha to join it too as she felt her expressions while dancing were very good. While pursuing these dance classes, one member of their group asked her to come and watch the live shooting of a Sahyadri channel serial.
In that serial, Pratiksha got a small role as a reporter even though she had to speak only 4 lines.
Later, Pratiksha got similar small reporter roles in serials Tu Tithe Me, Rang Maxa Vegla and Pudhcha Paul. She gave many auditions after this and had to struggle for two years.

In 2014, She made her debut in Raju Meshram’s Marathi film Khairlanjichya Mathyawar.
She has done many episodes in Crime Patrol Dastak on Sony TV.
In 2018, She made her debut in small screen with Star Pravah serial Chhatriwali.

She is famous for her portrayal of the role of ‘Kiyara’ in Colors Marathi serial’s Family Drama serial Ghadge & Suun. She came as replacement of Richa Agnihotri.
More recently, she played the role of ‘Sameeha’ in Star Pravah’s iconic serial Agnihotra 2.
