In early 2012, Falkers joined WDIO/WIRT-TV as a morning news anchor in Duluth, Minnesota. Initially, she worked as a reporter in the field quickly became a morning news anchor.
During her time in Duluth, she received several accolades that included an Emmy Award nomination for her coverage on the victimization of sexual assault survivors. She also won an Emmy Award for her morning news coverage.

After more than two years working in Duluth, Brittany moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to work for the WJMN and WFRV TV networks as a news anchor. Here, she worked alongside meteorologist Justine Steinbrinck and fellow anchor, Rich Klindworth anchoring a show called ‘This Morning.’
Falkers also hosted a regular segment on the channel where she showcased various pets looking to be adopted from the WI Humane Society in the Greenbay area.
