Born in New York City, on August 9, 1961, Amy Stiller was exposed to the buzzing entertainment industry of New York City from a young age.

Her parents, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, well-known as a comedy duo, worked in films, TV shows, and Broadway throughout her upbringing and had an important influence on her future.
Her younger brother, Ben Stiller, experienced a similar upbringing & is now a very successful comedy actor.
Amy continues to live in New York City with her husband Rodger Bumpass. They have been married since 2008.

Career as an Actress and Net Worth :

Amy’s first-ever role in the film was at 8 years old when she played the flower girl in her mother’s movie “Lover’s And Other Stranger.” In the movie, she sang with Cloris Leachman.
After her first experience of acting, she went on to appear in High school productions. In the 1980s, she graduated from Circle in the Square Theatre School’s two-year professional theatre program.

By 1995, she started to develop her own character pieces after taking a sketch writing class at Chicago City Limits, which gave her the motivation to start doing stand-up comedy.
She eventually gained a manager and started obtaining roles in theatre, television, and film. Her character acting became her most popular asset and she was highly praised for the one person play Fully Committed where she portrayed 40 characters.
