Introduction :
Casey Coates Danson is an American producer, interior designer & environmental activist most well-known for being the second wife of legendary actor and TV giant Ted Danson.
Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Born in 1938 with the full name Cassandra Coates, Casey was born and raised in Long Island, New York. Her family had Greek-American roots.
- She graduated along in 1975 with a BFA in Environmental Design.
Ted’s Marriages :
First Marriage :
- In 1970, Ted had his first marriage to actress & his college sweetheart Randy. The details of their relationship and subsequent married life were never fully disclosed as the couple maintained a low profile outside of their careers.
- Randy and Ted filed for divorce in 1975, five years after their marriage. The couple did not have any children together.
Second Marriage :
- After Randy & Ted’s marriage ended, he married Casey in 1977. There was a 10 year age difference between the two. Soon after marriage, the couple moved to Los Angeles.
