Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Donna met her husband David when she was still in college, and the couple got married in 1963, the same year they graduated.
- The couple has four adult children named Daniel Jeremiah, Jan Jeremiah, Jennifer Jeremiah, and David Michael. They also have about 12 grandchildren.
- Donna and David’s son Daniel was an NFL scout but now works as a sports analyst for the NFL Network.
- Jeremiah’s in-laws, Ruby and James Jeremiah, were also active members of the church, and her father-in-law, James, was the pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio.

- They began their church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and had only seven families as active church members. Over the next 12 years, they worked to grow their church while also serving at the Blackhawk Baptist Church.
- Donna and David’s church grew over time, and eventually, they had 1300 active members in addition to a school named Blackhawk Christian School and a TV program called The Bible Hour.
- The couple relocated to California in 1981 and joined Scott Memorial Baptist Church before later renaming it to Shadow Mountain Community Church.
- Donna was named Executive Vice President of the church, while David worked as the head pastor. The church grew to become one of the most prominent Baptist churches in San Diego and had eight more locations that accommodated a diverse range of members, including Arabic and Hispanic communities.
- Donna and David also formed the Christian Unified Kindergarten Schools and the Southern California Seminary.
- In 1982, they formed the Turning Point for God TV program and, shortly after, the Turning Point radio station. As the Executive Vice President of the church and the TV/radio programs, Donna has traveled with her husband across the globe to countries like Australia, Russia, and Israel.

I enjoy watching Dr Jeremiah each eve. I am almost done with his book, “Escape the Coming Night.”

David Jeremiah’s TV program one day where he said to have a gratitude notebook rather than a prayer journal. It has really been a blessing to me as I have been going through the grief of losing my husband. Several of my friends know that I am keeping a gratitude journal and they called to tell me what God has done so we can put it in the journal would you please tell your husband that it has been a blessing to us all.
