  1. Y’all’s faith is weak. If capital letters are a stumbling block for you, then you need to finish your milk. How dare you insult someone whom you barely know, and who is much more qualified than you. Repent.

  2. One more indication of the ignorance of arrogance in our world today. In school as children, we were taught to capitalize the pronouns since the entire point of capitalization of titles was reverence, something woefully lacking in our present-day world, to its destruction.

If God is supreme, and He is, King of all Kings, and He is, then if we capitalize positions of dignity such as Dr. Governor, President, Pastor, Reverend, then, of course, we would capitalize anything referring to the One who is above all. It is so sad to even hear that today’s ‘grammar enthusiasts’ can’t figure out the logic so we capitulate to them. That kind of thinking is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

  3. I faithfully read Paul David Tripp’s “New Morning Mercies” each morning but do not understand why he doesn’t capitalize any pronouns that are references to God. My Bibles do, and every other Christian book I’ve read do as well. I am almost offended by his choices and wonder how I should instruct a new believer I have bought this book to give.

Would you send this to him, or send me a method to ask him myself?
