- In 2003, Stephanie took her first steps in the career that she loves. She worked as a Sales Room Assistant and Advisor at Mitchells Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers.
- Gaining valuable experience in her former role, Stephanie started working at the world-renowned Bonham Auctioneers in 2006. During her time there, she became Director of their Collector Sales and Head of the Entertainment Memorabilia department.
- Over the years, many interesting jobs came her way, such as the sale of musician Eric Clapton’s guitars and amplifiers, the family archive of singer George Harrison and the auction of ‘Doctor Who’ on behalf of the BBC network.
- She was also involved in the sale of the statue of the original Maltese Falcon and even the sale of Ex-First Lady Jackie Kennedy’s pearls.
- In 2014, after a decade of experience as an auctioneer and valuer, Stephanie launched her online Stephanie Connell Art & Antiques store, whose services include collections, acquisitions and sales advice.
- In 2015, Connell became involved in the sale of the estate of the late Lord Richard Attenborough and Sir Christopher Lee’s Lord of the Rings collection.

Steph along with Roo are my latest favourites. Sadly we are having too much of that Christina woman. Caroline is always top of my list.
Agree that Steph and Roo are good, however disagree about Christina! Also every other of the lady presenters/ experts are very good…the exception bein Natasha Rashkin Sharp, who I do not like as an expert or presenter. Although she is a very nice lady and a genuine expert, am not a fan on her presenting skills.
Dave Davis must think “Christina” is from Game of Thrones?

Stephanie is brilliant, and if I was 40 years younger, I’d chase her for her personality, interests and because like me, she doesn’t sound too posh!

Steph is one of the nicest of the Bargain Hunt people. I watched her recently doing the ‘road trip’ and the way she conducted herself at the auction was most commendable. She didn’t show off and hog the camera like one or two ‘divas’ she is truly the most unassuming of these professionals.
