Born into a famous & talented family, the blue-eyed brunette model Erin Everly worked for Wilhelmina Agency for many years before retiring. She is best known for her rocky marriage to rockstar Axl Rose of the band Guns N’ Roses.
Young Life and Family Details :
- Erin Invicta Everly was born on November 8, 1965, in Los Angeles, California. She was born into a show business family.
- Parents : She is the daughter of Don Everly(father), of the rock and roll duo the “Everly Brothers” & actress turned clothing designer Venetia Stevenson(mother).
- Everly’s parents got divorced in the 1970s after her father had fought with drug problems and even got hospitalized.
- Her maternal grandparents are director Robert Stevenson and soap opera actress Anna Lee.
- Her paternal grandparents are legendary guitarist Isaac Milford, also known as Ike Everly, and the country music performer, Margaret.
- Everly has two siblings, a brother named Edan Everly and a sister named Stacy Everly. Stacy also went into the movie industry as an actress and movie crewmember. Edan pursued music.

- Erin met Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose at a party in Los Angeles in 1986. Back then, he was 24, and she was 19.
- Eventually, she moved back to Los Angeles from New York City to continue their relationship.
- They got married in April 1990, and they were only married for nine months before getting an annulment in January 1991.
- Erin had a miscarriage during her marriage to Axl.
- In 1994, she filed a lawsuit against Axl for domestic violence, claiming that she was physically, sexually, and emotionally abused by him throughout the course of their marriage.
Second Marriage and Children :
- After separating from Axl, Erin was in brief relationships with other known celebrities such as David Arquette, Anthony Kiedis, Donovan Leitch Jr., Matthew Nelson and Matthew Klyn.
- She remarried John C. Portman III in 1997 and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he lived.
- John is the Vice Chairman of Portman Holdings, a land, and property development company. He is also the Vice-Chairman of John Portman and Associates, an architectural and engineering firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
- John already had a daughter, Joannah Portman, who later became an actress as well.
- The couple had three children – Daughters Eres and Esper & son Eason before they got a divorce in 2006.

- Erin attended Buckley School, an exclusive co-ed college preparatory day school in Sherman Oaks in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles.
- She attended this school with her siblings but they all eventually transferred out into the public school system when their parents had financial issues.
- In the mid-1980s, Erin moved to New York City at the age of sixteen in order to model for Wilhelmina Models.
