Will attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.

He then moved to Washington, D.C., and graduated in 2006 with a Doctor of Medicine from the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
