- They used a variety of Jewish racial slurs, and he shared screenshots through his Twitter (now called X) account @JDiamond1. However, he kept the identities of the perpetrators hidden. Many of his 40,000 followers were outraged & responded angrily.
- While many other journalists were also attacked with anti-Semitic slurs, it was considered most ironic that Diamond was as he is Episcopalian and not Jewish in any way.
