Vandana Sajnani is a well-known Indian theatre actor, director and producer.
Since 2008, Vandana is married to Rajesh Khattar, an Indian television and film actor, voice actor and screenwriter.

Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :

Vandana Sajnani was born on 25th October 1975 in Mumbai, India. She has two sisters, Niharika and Madhu and a brother, Dinesh. She studied in Hill Grange High School and chose Commerce as her major in college.
She was introduced to her now-husband, Rajesh Khattar by Himesh Reshammiya, a popular Bollywood singer.

The couple got married on May 5, 2008, in Mumbai, India. This was Vandana’s first marriage and Rajesh’s second marriage.
The wedding reception was held in BJN Hall & was attended by celebrities like Mugdha Godse, Rajeev Khandelwal and Aamna Shariff.

Marriage and Kids :

Vandana has a stepson from Rajesh’s previous marriage to actress Neelima Azeem named Ishaan Khattar. Ishan, born in 1995 is an up-and-coming actor and won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his movie ‘Dhadak’ in 2018.
Her husband Rajesh’s ex-wife Neelima is the mother of the award-winning Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor. Shahid is Neelima and actor Pankaj Kapur’s biological son.
Unfortunately, Vandana suffered two midterm miscarriages during her marriage to Rajesh. This led her to a low phase, but her work helped her cope with the trauma.

She has mentioned in previous interviews that her friends call her the “Ekta Kapoor” of theatre because, like Ekta, Vandana follows her instincts on deciding what direction to take next in her career and life. Ekta Kapoor is a highly successful producer of TV soap operas.
She has also talked about her love of cooking and posts pictures and recipes of her homemade meals on her social media.

Besides her work, Sajnani likes to spend her time coaching children for the world of theatre.
In early 2017, she went through a strong weight loss regime & shed 10 kgs.
