From a ‘mere friends’ relationship to the first pangs of adolescent romance, which ultimately culminated in marriage, it has been a fairytale-like journey for the loveable couple, Manish and Sanyukta Paul! In fact, they are perfect representations of ‘opposites attract’!
Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Sanyukta is a Bengali. However, she grew up in Delhi.
- Not much is known about her family, except that they became well acquainted with Manish’s family in Delhi.
- She was always a studious and rather quiet-natured girl, unlike the boisterous and flirtatious Manish.
- Both were from different communities. Yet, the families readily agreed to the couple’s marriage.
- They have two children, a girl and a boy.
- Their elder daughter Saisha was born on January 9, 2011. Their younger son was born on June 16, 2016.
Education, Career, Salary and Net Worth :
- Sanyuktaa was a student of Apeejay School in New Delhi. She graduated from high school in 1999.
- She obtained both, her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English, from the University of Delhi.
- Sanyuktaa opted for a teaching career after her graduation. She started working at D. G. Khetan International School, from April 2007 onwards.
Love Life :
- Sanyuktaa met her future husband when she was just a toddler of three! He was four!
- They were always in the same class at school. They bonded immediately, playing together, and sharing lunch boxes. Sanyuktaa would even complete his homework for him!
- She disliked her mother often forcing her to stay at home after school, while both were studying in the sixth standard.
- When all she wanted to do was to play with her own set of friends, Sanyuktaa was encouraged to play word games with Manish and share her mechanics set with him.
- Things changed when both entered the eleventh standard in 1998.
- Her newfound possessiveness and sense of insecurity caused her to feel jealous whenever Manish paid extra attention to other girls!
- No one was probably more surprised than Sanyuktaa when Manish decided that he ‘liked’ her very much, the next year! However, did Sanyuktaa reciprocate immediately? She did not! Instead, she laughed off his proposal, stating that she would lose a good friend in the bargain!
- Even though Manish and Sanyukta joined different colleges, they bunked classes, just to see each other!
- When Manish relocated to Mumbai, in order to take up an assignment with Zee Music as a VJ, Sanyukta began to feel the first pangs of separation.
Marriage :
- The couple tied the knot in 2007 when both Manish and Sanyuktaa were in their mid-20s.
- Manish himself admits that Sanyuktaa has been a friend, philosopher, and guide to him, throughout their marriage.
- She ensured that he became serious about his career, living his dreams along with him!
- Sanyuktaa is exactly the kind of passionate wife, confidante, and inspiring friend, who appears in every man’s dreams as his life partner. Manish may be the charismatic figure on stage, but she is an equally charismatic one, off the stage!
