Although today Ayesha Shroff is known for being the wife of popular Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff & mother of young actor Tiger Shroff, she has also made her name and career on her own.

Personal Life :

Ayesha Shroff ( born as Ayesha Dutt) was born on 5th June 1960 to parents – Bengali Father Ranjan Dutt who was an Air Vice-Marshal in Indian Air Force and Belgian mother Claude Marie Dutt De Cavey.
In 1987 on the occasion of her birthday, she got married to her seven-year-old long boyfriend, Jackie Shroff and had two children, one son, Tiger Shroff (born in 1990) and one daughter, Krishna Shroff (born in 1993). Jackie Shroff was already a big movie star by the time of their marriage.
In 2014, Ayesha had an ugly spat with her business associate, Sahil Khan who accused her of having an affair with him and using him.

She rubbished those accusations by claiming that Sahil is gay. In 2015, Sahil Khan apologized, and their mudslinging match finally came to an end. Despite such setbacks, Ayesha has managed to keep her married life healthy. In most interviews, Jackie Shroff always praised her and said she was a source of strength when their children were growing up.

Career and Professional Life :

Ayesha’s personal career started when she competed in Miss Young World contest in Manila. Although she didn’t win, she was voted the most popular girl at the contest by other contestants.

Following the contest, she became a successful model on the grounds of her good looks. She also acted in a Bollywood movie called Teri Baahon Mein in 1984.
Later on, she became a film producer and went on to produce films like Boom, Grahan, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain and Bombil and Beatrice. Unfortunately, most of them didn’t do well at the Box Office.
She even picked up a 10% stake in the entertainment channel Sony TV, which she had purchased with her husband back in the 1990s. However, she sold the stake in 2012 after 15 years of association with Sony TV. With such a business-oriented mind, she has proved her worth separately from her more famous husband.
