Prerna Chopra is the beloved wife of actor Sharman Joshi, who is known for his mind-blowing character in 2009 film called Three idiots. Prerna belongs to Punjabi family originally, but after marriage she adopted herself fabulously to Gujrat way of life as Sharman belongs to a Gujarati family. Marriage is something very special to her and she strongly believes that couples are made in heaven.

Her dad Prem Chopra was a well-knowed actor, most famous for playing negative roles and got Filmfare award for best supporting actor in a film called Do Anjaane.
Prerna’s childhood was amazing and she remembers her sweet days with her siblings Rakita and Punita. She says that those days were awesome and she would like to go back in those sweet memories often.
She has a beautiful relationship with her in-laws and never misses to praise them for their loving nature and support throughout her life. Her father in law, Arvind worked in Gujarati theatre whereas her aunt Sarita worked in Gujarati and Marathi theatre. The couple Prerna and Sharman have three children including daughter Khyana Joshi (born 2006) and twin boys – Vihaan Joshi and Vaaryan Joshi.
As per Prerna, her kids are most loving and she can’t leave without them. Watching the funny things done by her twins is very pleasing, adds Prerna. Sharman says, his wife is the best wife and mom that he could ever think of. He is very much grateful to her for everything that she does being a wife and mother.
Prerna’s sister Rakita is happily married to Rahul Nanda, who is a well-known designer responsible for film publicity. Her other sister Punita is an accountable person and owns Wind Chimes, which is a pre-school in Bandra (Mumbai). Prerna and her family live in their Pali Hill duplex apartment which is located in Mumbai, Bandra region.
According to Prerna, her mother Uma Chopra has been very influential in her life and she has learned various moral as well as ethical things from her mother.
