  1. Dr. Berry,

I live in Franklin TN, and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 20 years ago. Last July, after watching you and other LCHF docs on YouTube. I started eating LCHF, tending toward carnivore. My A1c dropped from 8 on 4 diabetes meds, to 5.6 on only a lower dose of metformin. Unbelievably, my docs are not supportive and are not interested in education. Can you recommend an LC-supportive GP in the Nashville area who accepts Medicare?

    Thanks,
    Linley.

  2. Dr. Berry,

I just wrote you a message and was not finished, but it just got wiped out completely! We have emailed our lab reports to you to just advise us. We are doing keto now and have joined your Proteon Tribe, but could not get on to ask questions. We are not good computer people.

There are no doctors here, where we live. It is a very small community with only nurse practitioners. We realize you are very busy. After listening to your video on Hashimoto’s disease, I believe I have that. I’m experiencing 22 uncommon symptoms very badly. I had a rare autoimmune disease from 1985 to 1994. They told me there was no cure…maybe this has continued all these years! Please answer our email, we would be very grateful. Wish we weren’t so far away.

    Thanks,
    Lena Fore.

  3. Dr. Berry,

I have been a subscriber of your YouTube channel for several months now. As a family physician and man on a mission to squelch type 2 diabetes, obesity and mental health issues, I am very interested in your opinion of how closely a person with bi-lateral Menieres Disease should follow your Carnivore diet advice. I am assuming people with different ailments have to consider their personal situation and use your advice accordingly. I completely lost my hearing to Meniers Disease and have 2 cochlear implants now. I also have severe tinnitus in both ears and am on triamterene to regulate water retention in my inner ears. I’m also a pre-diabetic and more overweight than I care to say. Following your carnivore diet, I quickly lost 20 pounds. And, I salted my food to taste with “Real Salt”, forgetting my ENT’s advice to limit salt. My Tinnitus has increased and of course it has. My fault. But as I said, I’d love to hear any advice or opinion you might have, where I can follow your diet as closely as possible, considering my having Menieres Disease.

    Thank you.

  4. Dear Dr. Barry,

I am a type 2 diabetic just prescribed glipizide 5mg from metformin a few weeks ago. I am not overweight @ 5’4”/125 lbs. However, my a1c is 11 for the last 2 three month tests and my glucose meter is in the high 200s to 300. I don’t eat much and seldom ever eat sweets. I do love carbs over meat but just changed into the foods you speak about. 2 eggs at 8 a.m., canned tuna afternoon, and pork medallion, meatball, or light fish @ dinner. and some veggies…as soon as I eat anything my blood sugar soars. I drink a sufficient amount of water each day. I don’t want to go on insulin. My GP is not really interested and is mainly just a source for referrals. I look like I am in my 50s and not out of shape, even though I exercise. Is there still hope for me to get well? I am 77 years old.

  5. I have been trying to locate cardiologists in the Chicago area who are not crazy about prescribing statins but with no success. Do you know of anyone?

  6. Hello Dr. Berry,

I am a 65 yr old, retired bedside RN, prediabetic, obese, fatty liver, etc woman. Since the 1st week of Dec 2021, I have now lost 18 lbs on your recommended keto diet. Eating high fat/protein, low carb goes against everything I was ever taught as a cardiac nurse. I felt so guilty eating all the fat until the pounds started coming off! It’s still weird to me to consume pork skin! Thank you for all your informative videos and tips.

  7. Dr. Ken,

I would love love love to be your new patient. I so badly need to be your patient after I’ve done marathon-watching your videos. Google still says you practice in the clinic that burned down. I gave tried Google search to try and find you!! I am a type 2 diabetic, overweight, and take blood pressure medicine. Even been properly diagnosed. I live close enough to drive to you if you are still in the Camden area. I would appreciate somebody to let me know. Thank you so much!

  8. Good day Dr Berry,

Thank you for your health advice on YouTube. Have you ever provided advice regarding Atrial Fibrillation? If so could you send me the link? I am almost 75 and have lived a very healthy and sporting life. AF has shattered me and I wish I could do something to reverse it.

    Kind Regards,
    Ray Johnston
    Sydney, Australia.

  9. Dear Dr. Barry,

I hope all is well with you and your family.

My husband has serious metabolic syndrome. He goes to the V.A. but has no real support.

We’re on Keto. Well, off and on. I had lost 30lbs, but of course, gained it all back after the holidays nit getting back on track.

I am back on and feel amazing. My hubby is too. But cannot seem to get rid of his belly. He’s a marriage coach, so that’s stressful. We walk a couple of miles a day and drinks plenty of water.

    We need help. Can you?
