  1. Hi Jess,

I have been watching your various anchoring roles for some years. My comments are made from a career in the media ( TV, Radio, ) anchor of my own TV sports program many years ago. I am well known to Blocker Roach, Wayne Pearce, Greg Alexander etc.

I raced open wheelers in the UK and Australia, drove Bathurst in a works VW Passat in 1974 and have had extensive experience mentoring young media personalities.

I am sure I can add some perspective and tools to help you progress to another level in the media. If you wish to explore this further please contact me on the email address provided on this site. I look forward to further discussion.

  2. Jess, you are today in Townsville?

I am 81 and have been following motor-racing all my life. I don’t know why as an only child, my parents were not interested and I went to Ardmore to the Grand Prix in 1958, and have followed on most of my life. I live in Golden Bay at the top of the South Island.

I have had some wonderful times and great friends with Jan Mclaren’s sister. For many years I took a lot of photos and movies and the Mclaren Documentary contained a lot of my movies held in the archive in Wellington.

I could go on but won’t but just want to thank you for the way you present the Supercars to us and for putting up with Niel and the boys around you, not forgetting our own pit lane reporter from NZ!

Many thanks for what you do for us.

  3. If only the supercars could give Jess a couple of co presenters with as much talent as her. How she handles the two dunces (MS&RI not Crompo)is testament to her ability.

  4. She may be fairly well known & thought of for her Motor racing exploits, but have a crack at her hosting of the Sunday Ticket (Rugby League) and co-hosting League Life on the FOXLeague channel, and you’ll find she has a great handle on that sport as well. And she’s a SHARKIE!.

  5. Jess is an amazing remarkable presenter and we look forward to her gracing our Supercar coverage for many years to come…Thanks to all the team…Dan

  6. I can’t believe how professional this classy lady comes across. I can not imagine anyone fronting the supercar show anywhere near as compellingly as Jess does.

I may fast forward some of the races, but I watch every moment of the behind the racing footage in no small part because she is there. Did I mention her professionalism? Fantastic. Presenter of the decade right there

  7. I am a former adf soldier and I just finish watching kokoda with himdy fletch the proffesor and yourself and film crew all I want to say is you make me feel proud to be australian again and the boys as well but you are so very smart and classy good stuff jess
